Arrive Leh

Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport transfer to Hotel 3 kms/ 10 min and full day at rest for high altitude acclimatization which is must to settle yourself to the high altitudes of Ladakh. Evening you can take an easy walk to market to stretch yourself. Overnight at the Hotel.

Leh

After breakfast proceed to visit Thikshey monastery, Stok palace , Shey monastery and Sindhu Ghat. Later visit to Alchi, Pathar sahib Gurudwara, Hall of fame, Sangam(Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River). By evening back to Leh, Overnight spend at hotel in Leh.

Leh - Pangyong - Leh

Early morning fullday excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km from Leh - one of the most amazing Lakes in the entire Himalayas which is nearly 140km long and 3-5km in width more than half of which lies in Tibetan territory. Back to Leh by evening and free in the market. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning visit Khardongla Pass at 18360 ft-world highest motorable pass 48 km/ 2 hrs. Afternoon visit a local family in Stok village 17 kms/ 20 min to try homemade butter tea and barley drink & Thiksey Monastery which enshrines the most photographed statue of Maitreya Buddha in India. Overnight at the hotel
