Explore Mumbai in Full Day

Morning : Elephanta Caves Tour
A tour representative who will meet you and pick youup from your hotel by morning 9:30 am. The first spot is at Mumbai harbor where you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Island.

Elephanta Island is famous forElephant caves which is a heritage site. Top attractions on the island are the caves, islands, sea view and others. The caves were used during 5th century BC. There is a Hindu temple on the island.

Afternoon : Admire the Historical Structures and Architectural of Mumbai
You will be taken back to the land. After lunch at any restaurant, you will be taken to Gateway of India for photoshoot and sightseeing. Later, you will be taken to Prince of Wales Museum. You can find interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization here. The museum has nothing to do with Wales. George V, who was a Prince of Wales, placed the foundation stone for the museum and thus, the museum got its name.

Evening : Learn about the Culture and History of the City
By early evening, you will be taken to Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi, father of India. The next one on the list is shopping trip. You will be taken along busy lanes filled with shops and other attractions.

The tour representative will drop you off at your hotel by late evening. The rest of the day is yours. You can either stay back in Mumbai and enjoy other attractions like Marine Drive, slum area and others or, catch your destination train or flight for the return journey.
